Cryptocurrency

Click here to donate cryptocurrency. As deep believers in decentralization, we happily accept a wide variety of cryptocurrencies through endaoment.org – a registered 501(c)(3) that has developed a robust platform for donating crypto. The platform allows you to securely connect your wallet and donate using a wide variety of tokens.

Endaoment‘s application is built on Ethereum, but can accept any crypto or digital asset, regardless of chain or type (yes, even NFTs!), as donations. To give through Endoament, you‘ll need an Ethereum-enabled wallet installed in your web browser (e.g. MetaMask and Wallet Connect). Endaoment also accepts “over-the-counter donations” of many other cryptocurrencies, please refer to this page for more details.

Gifts to Savory Institute through the Endaoment platform are automatically converted to USD and deposited into Savory Institute’s account.

Donate Stocks and Bonds

Please email bgill@savory.global for instructions on donating stock or comparable assets.

Donate Land, Animals, or Other Assets

In certain circumstances, Savory Institute has welcomed gifts of land, animals, and other assets. Since accepting these types of gifts can carry substantial amounts of paperwork and legal consultation, these opportunities are taken on a case-by-case basis and carefully vetted in accordance with our Holistic Context.

Example: Donating Land

The Savory Institute’s West Bijou Ranch in Colorado was a gift from The Plains Conservation Center, a local organization that wanted to ensure the long-term stewardship of their 7,500-acre site. The West Bijou ranch now serves as one of two Global Campuses of the Savory Institute, with the other being the Dimbangombe Ranch in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

Example: Donating Animals

A dairy farm contacted Savory Institute wanting to donate calves on a regular basis. Given that Savory Institute had no way to receive these calves directly, Savory then connected the dairy with their closest Savory Hub to evaluate the opportunity. After much discussion, the Savory Hub was able to integrate calf donations into their programs, providing not just Holistic Management training and EOV land verification services, but now also providing animals for those without the means to do so on their own. This calf donation story is captured in a short film on Savory’s youtube channel.
